Abel Colorado Esquivel, was born on February 17,1956 entered eternal rest on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 67.

He is united in Heaven with his parents Frank S. Esquivel and Hermina Colorado, son, Abel S. Esquivel, brother, Frank C. Esquivel, sister, Nina Guerrero and two nephews, Enrique Guerrero and Peter James Gonzales.

In October 1977, Abel enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country as an Air Traffic Controller until 1984. He continued his career with the FAA- Federal Aviation Administration.  After retirement, he attended UTSA and pursued a degree in Civil Engineering.  Abel had a love for math, was an avid reader, kept up with world events and loved to cook-out.

He showed unconditional love for his surviving daughters Veronica May Franklin and Miranda L. Jazdyk, and  granddaughters Jude Nov Esquivel and Skylar Michelle Esquivel.

He will be forever loved and missed by his sisters Amelia Silva, Myra Esquivel, his life partner, Carrie Vasquez and extended family, nieces, nephews.

Abel made you feel so special when he greeted you with open arms. He never met a stranger. His beautiful smile and warm embrace was so special to us all.
