Abel F. Garcia, passed away peacefully to be with God on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Blessed age of 49. He was born May 22, 1973, in San Antonio TX. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Domingo R. Garcia and Ramona F. Garcia. He is very much loved and will be missed by his wife Jenniferrose Martinez Garci a, their dog Teddy Bear Garcia, mother Lydia (Jose) Garcia, sister Ana (Ted) Schneski,  uncle David Garcia, brother-in -laws Jose Antonio Gonzalez, Jose Martin Gonzalez , and G odparents Jose Luis & Dorothy Gonzalez.

He was a 1992 graduate of South San High School. He also earned his Associates in Applied Science from Palo Alto College, and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Texas A&M University San Antonio. He was employed for over 20 years at AT&T as a Senior Reports Clerk.

During his spare time, he volunteered at the Judson Band Booster and Veterans Memorial High School AJROTC with his wife. He recently volunteered at the Austin Food Bank with his AT&T coworkers. His favorite hobby was collecting sports and historical memorabilia and his favorite football team was the Baltimore Ravens. He also loved the San Antonio Spurs.

Heaven has gained a treasured soul. He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends and will be truly missed.

A funeral service is scheduled on Friday August 5, 2022 . Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM and Rosary from 10:00-11:00 AM at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, TX 78228 . Interment will be held at San Fernando Cemetery II.
