Obituary

Adam L. Ytuarte, 85, of San Antonio, TX, passed away March 28, 2022 after a valiant battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

Adam was born on September 23, 1936 to Herlinda & Mariano Ytuarte in Poteet, TX. Very shortly after grade school he went to help his Dad work on the family ranch. He would later join the United States Army for 1 term. He held various jobs. Adam was a smoke house operator for Meat packing plant until it closed down. He would than pursue a career as the Lead in environmental services for Bexar County Hospital until it was sold to be what is now University Hospital. He than obtained position as head of housekeeping for State Hospital of San Antonio, where he would retire at the age of 77.
Adam enjoyed following San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys games. He had a love for going to the flea market where he use to sell rabbits seasonally. Adam had good friends at POST 8397 and B & N Sports Bar where he would meet up with friends he grew up with.
Adam, is survived by his sisters Clara Jasso, Alicia Mendoza, Sara Calderon, Evelia Muraira, Celia Ytuarte, Refugia Aguilar, Olivia Salazar. Children: Amos Ytuarte, Alex Ytuarte, Adam Ytuarte Jr., Jeannette R. Ytuarte, Armando Ytuarte, Arturo Ytuarte, Araceli Ytuarte , John Robert Ytuarte. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephew's, niece's, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by parents Herlinda & Mariano Ytuarte. Brothers Alberto Ytuarte and Geronimo Ytuarte. Late wife Martina Ytuarte, ex wife Lillian G. Ytuarte, sons Allen Ytuarte and Arnold Ytuarte, daughter Alicia Rose Ytuarte. He will be missed by all who love him.
