Adela Ann Vasquez passed away peacefully on April 5 ^th , 2021 at the age of 48 surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She battled cancer for one year, she was brave and strong. Adela was born in San Antonio, TX where she graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1991. While working for Target and Office Depot as a store manager Adela returned to college to pursue her dream career. In 2007 she graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management. Soon after, she was hired at Vision Works and had recently been promoted to Human Resources Manager. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Adela was  a devoted Catholic and instilled Catholic values in her nieces and nephews. Adela is preceded in death by her father Eusebio Vasquez Jr. and grandparents Juan Francisco, Maria R. Cantu, and Candelaria Vasquez.

Adela is loved and will be missed by her mother Esmeralda Cantu, Stepfather Francisco Almaguer, sisters Christina Vasquez and Mary Gloria Almaguer, brothers Luis Francisco Vasquez (Jessica) and Trinidad Almaguer, Aunts, Uncles, nieces & nephews, and extended family and friends. She will truly be missed.
