Adelfa Chavera Salazar was born August 11, 1933 in Marion, Texas, and went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; Daniel and Felipa Chavera, Brothers, Daniel, Albert, Jimmy, and Raul. Sisters; Ramona and Rosita. She is survived by her children, Richard Salazar Jr. (Gloria Salazar),  Roland Salazar (Marty Salazar), Leticia Salazar (Raquel), Adam Salazar (Esther Salazar) and Yvonne Flores (Rick Flores) along with 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Adelfa's number one priority was always her children. They were her pride and joy.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. On Thursday, May 26, 2022, a funeral mass will be held at Good Counsel Catholic Church at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
