Adrian D. Alvarado gained his wings on December 30, 2020 at the age of 70 years old.

Born in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon on March 5, 1950 he moved to the United States at the age of 18 yrs in search of better opportunities. Adrian was a dedicated construction worker who contributed in building Sea World, Alamodome and the original wooden Rattler roller coaster at Fiesta Texas. He will continue to be loved and greatly missed by his children and his wife of 46 years, Maria J. Alvarado. Adrian had a big heart. He was a very kind and selfless person who got joy from taking his wife to the Casinos even though he was not a gambler. Adrian was a home body who enjoyed staying home and drinking a beer as his pass time. He was also a fighter. He battled 2 types of cancers within a 3 year time span, completing his radiology treatment in October. Throughout this trying and difficult time, he did not waiver, he remained strong, hopeful and optimistic. We will forever treasure the beautiful memories we shared with him and he will be greatly missed.

Adrian is preceded in death by his Father, Pedro Alvarado and his brother, Pete Alvarado.

Adrian will be missed by his daughter Sonia A. Rodriguez (Jesse Rodriguez), son Adrian Alvarado, Jr (Vanessa Alvarado) and his 4 grandchildren, Christian Alvarado, Caylin Alvarado, Mason Rodriguez and Maci Rodriguez.

He is also survived by his 88 year old mother Maria Guadalupe Alvarado and siblings, Juan Alvarado (Estela Alvarado), Armandina Medellin, Guillermina De Hoyos (Carlos De Hoyos), Adelaida Gutierrez, Lupita Alvarado, Ofilia Alvarado, Norma Olmos (Joe Olmos), Dagoberto Alvarado (Melissa Alvarado), Hugo Alvarado (Norma Alvarado).

Adrian will also be missed by his large extended family of 4 generations with over 300 family members.
