Obituary

Albert Sanchez Gonzales was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He passed away peacefully on Thursday Dec. 31st, 2020 at the age of 82. His spirit is carried on by his loving wife of 53 long wonderful years Sarah A. Gonzales, son Albert G Gonzales III and daughter Monica S. Murrell, son-n-law Robert B. Murrell and grandchildren Giovanni Murrell and Jazmin Murrell, his Brothers Alvino S. Gonzales, Jesus S. Gonzales, Joe S. Gonzales and sisters, Mary Logg, (Lincoln Logg), Lupe Riojas (Manuel Riojas), Isabel Flores, several brother and sister n-laws, nieces and nephews.

Albert Sanchez Gonzales was born October 30, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas. He has been called to the Lord to reunite with his Mother Maria S. Gonzales, Father Albert D. Gonzales and brother Alfred S. Gonzales.

Albert was raised in San Antonio, Tx, graduated from Harlandale H.S. and served in the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer and continued with Kelly Air Force Base in the Civil Service for 33 years. Albert was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for 31 years. On his final day of passing, he completed his 20 years of living life to the fullest as a retiree.

We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Albert during his 82 years. There were several things he valued but two of the most important are his faith in the Lord. The confidence of having faith in what we believe and hope for and the conviction of what is unseen.
The other his"Family" and the importance of family spending time together, as he often emphasized, "A family that prays together, stays together". He was an extraordinary man who acted like an ordinary one. His heart was full of stories and loved to travel and share those experiences.

Albert enjoyed playing and listening to music and various projects of wood working. Albert & Sarah were blessed to have the opportunity to travel all over the world beginning with their Honeymoon in Acapulco and then various places such as Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Figi, France, Hawaii, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, and Spain. Albert was a faithful servant to the Lord and always eager to share his wealth of knowledge. Our Heavenly Father has called him and may the beautiful memories last forever.

Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Proverbs 3:5-6
