Albert Mendoza was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21,2020 at the age of 63, after a long battle with illness. He was born September 21,1956, in San Antonio, Texas. Albert loved life, loved people, was kind and had a strong will to live. He was a man of faith who loved God and strived to obey His Word and was Born Again. He repented of his sins and remitted them in the waters of baptism in the Name of Jesus in obedience to ACTS 2:38 in the Bible. On February 10,2019 – just over a year before his passing – Albert received the gift of the Holy Spirit. As a result of this new birth of water and Spirit, he experienced a profound transformation of his life and spent his last months worshiping and serving God with all his remaining strength.

Albert was born to Gilbert N. Mendoza and Maria U. Mendoza. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Delia Cruz; children Albert Mendoza, Jr., Debra Lee Estrada, and Steve Mendoza; siblings Yolanda Estrada, Gilbert Mendoza, Julia Garcia, Rachel Morales, Gabriel Mendoza, Norma Reynosa, and Jesse Mendoza, and their spouses Alice Mendoza, Becky Mendoza, and Lettie Mendoza; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members and New Church family of Alamo City Apostolic Church. He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held on Thursday at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on 520 N general McMullen Dr. San Antonio, Tx. 78228. Reverend Kelly Eugene Nix will be officiating.
