Obituary

Albert L. Rosas Jr. was called home into the Lord's arms on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the age of 41. Albert was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 28, 1981 to parents Albert L. Rosas Sr. and  Mary Christine Rosas. Albert graduated from Jefferson High School and continued his education through Trade school for HVAC and Truck driving. Albert enjoyed fishing, going dancing and playing pool and darts. He enjoyed playing in pool and dart tournaments through the 8-ball Pool League, The Balsa Pool League, and The Bexar County Pool League. He also enjoyed his job as a DJ- playing some of the greatest tunes around and entertaining people with his love of music. Mostly, Albert loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time as often as possible. He spent a lot of time with his grandfather Octaviano, mostly going fishing and spending time outdoors.

Albert is reunited in Heaven with his son Matthew Rosas; paternal grandmother Maria Rosas; maternal grandparents Alfred and Rita Longoria. He leaves behind to treasure his memory his loving spouse of 15 years Alicia Gomez; parents Albert L. Rosas Sr. and Mary Christine Rosas; Paternal grandfather Octaviano Rosas; step-sons Frank Moreno, Mark Moreno, Robert Gomez and Paul Moreno; grandchildren Janelle Zamaripa, Julian Gomez, and Robert Gomez Jr; brother Adam Rosas, sister Allison Ann Alvarado, and brother Augustus Rosas; numerous friends and extended family.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:3 0pm. Family and friends will depart in procession at 10am on Monday, April 3, 2023 for a 10:30am Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
