Albertin -
Nancy - Christian - Diego - Zia
January 22, 2023
In the aftermath of a tragic accident comes a storm that seems unbearable. In the early evening hours of Saturday, January 22, 2023, a family chain was broken. Any loss of life is one of time's painful passages that one can never be prepared for. In announcing these departures, we share the most beautiful love story. A tale of five angels who entered the gates of heaven together, as close in death as they were in life. Fore life has not ended, it's just changed. This world is not a place we stay forever and with courage, love, and faith we keep push forward knowing we will be reunited again, someday.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 12 pm to 5 pm at Castillo Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 2 pm. All services conclude following Saturday's visitation.
Nancy Perez Olvera Gonzalez
(8/19/1978 - 1/22/2023)
Nancy Perez Olvera Gonzalez, 44, was called home to heaven on Saturday evening January 22, 2023, in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born August 19, 1978, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of Gloria Canizales Perez and the late Fernando A. Perez.
Nancy was a gift to her parents from the Lord, given to Gloria and Fernando to share with the world until he unexpectedly called her home. Nancy studied in nursing and spent time working in the medical field where she would find fulfillment in the care she gave to others. Her attention to detail and love for crafting and creating would lead her to be highly successful as an event decorator for friends and especially family gatherings. Each year she would spend time ensuring details of her young children's parties were memorable. Through backdrops, balloon arches, matching t shirts and cakes, all put together to the T and made with a mother's love. Nancy loved to plan parties; in heaven we know she will prepare a place for us as we prepare a place for her.
She took pride in how she presented herself every day and truly loved to look her best at all times. Her hair, makeup, nails, outfits, and jewelry seemed too always be perfect. Her style was hard to match, and she took inspiration from Jenny Rivera whose music she adored so much. This pride was something she passed on to her children where she ensured they always were cared for and felt that unlimited love. Nancys generosity knew no bounds and she was available to anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance.
Albertin and Nancy were married and blessed with Mia, Diego, and Zia to join Hector, Adrian, and Christopher. Together they formed a unit that, although temporarily separated, will never be broken. A daughter, wife, mother, and friend who will be remembered forever, until we meet again.
In addition to her husband, Albertin Olvera Gonzalez and her children, Christian Eduardo Jaimes, Diego Fernando Perez Olvera, and Zia Giulietta Perez Olvera, who all passed away on Jan. 22, 2023, she was preceded in death by her father, Fernando A. Perez; a brother, Fernando Perez Jr; and a brother-in-law, Cristoval Gonzales.
Family members include her daughter, Mia Isabella Olvera Gonzalez; two sons, Hector Daniel Jaimes and Adrian Jonathon Jaimes; mother, Gloria Canizales Perez; parent in-laws, Aurea, and Faustino Olvera Gonzalez; siblings, Jovita Pedroso, Alicia P. Hoover (James), Mary Jane Gonzales, Rick Perez (Adriana), Roberto Perez, Linda Gonzales, and Lillian Perez; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
