Sgt. Alexander C. Soriano passed away in his sleep on June 30, 2026. He was 73 years old. Alexander was born on October 11, 1952 to Pedro D. Soriano and Angelina C. Soriano. 

He served his country for 15 years in the United States Army. He served 2 tours in Germany, 1 year in Turkey, and 7 years at Fort Carson, Colorado. After retiring, he worked for Pitney Bowes.

He is survived by his wife Mary A. Soriano, Galena Ks., his 3 sons Marcos (Kim), Nixa, Mo., Miguel, Galena Ks., Martyn (Makenzie), Kansas City Mo., 1 daughter Marisella (Hunter), Joplin Mo., 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-granddaughter. Several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Mario Alejandro Soriano, his parents Pedro and Angelina Soriano, 3 sisters; Rose Soriano, Sylvia Soriano, Maria Elena Cordoza, and 2 brothers; Conrad Soriano, and Pete Soriano.

A memorial service will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on October 2, 2026.
