Alfonso Valdez Zuniga entered into the Gates of Heaven on Wednesday, March 27th 2024, at the blessed age of 61. Alfonso was born on May 22nd 1962 in San Antonio, TX.

He is preceded in death by his brother Blas Zuniga Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Veronica Marie Zuniga, Grandchildren: Sidney Nicole Garza, Genevieve Garza, Edgar Zuniga Cervantes, and Great Grandchildren: Jaxson Andrew Pena and Amelia Marie Renteria, Mother: Celia Zuniga, Brother: Juan Zuniga and Sister: Isabel Zuniga and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alfonso was a proud truck driver for 20+ years. He treasured the memories of going deep sea fishing with his grandson, brother and friends to Port Aransas. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He had a devotion to family and friends and his ability to make anyone smile and laugh with his stories and jokes will always be remembered, As well for his unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will truly be missed.

Visitation will be at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday April 14th 2024 from 4pm-8pm with the Rosary at 6pm.
