Alfred Ruben
Villasenor
March 1, 1947 – February 2, 2022
Alfred Villasenor passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 2, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born in El Paso, Texas on march 1, 1947 to Delia and Gregorio Villasenor. Alfred served in the United States Air Force. He served in Vietnam, Korea, and various other assignments in the Far East and the United States. After 20 years of service in 1986 at Randolph Airforce Base, he retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E9). While in the U.S. Air Force, he earned two Associate's Degrees, a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Upon returning to San Antonio, he began working at City Public Service San Antonio's Electric and Gas Utility as a management consultant. He was selected to develop the Small Business Program. In 1995, he was promoted to Purchasing and Small Business Development Director.
Alfred sat on several boards and commissions throughout the city and served on the Executive Board of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for five years.
Alfred is survived by his wife Angie Villasenor of 20 years, son David Villasenor, three daughters: Heather, Cynthia Vara, and Hope Marcucci, his seven grandchildren, brother, Greg Villasenor, and extended family and friends. He will be missed tremendously and forever live in our hearts.
