It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Beloved Brother,Alfred C. Zapata,Sr. on December 27,2024 at the age of 83 yrs old. He was born on May 28,1941 in San Antonio, TX to our late Parents,Mr.&Mrs. Merced G. Zapata.

Our beloved brother was known for his genuine kindness, his generosity and his Love for his family. We will all miss our Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather,Great Grandfather,God Father,Uncle, Cousin, and wonderful Friend beyond words.

He is proceeded in passing by his late wife, Dominga H. Zapata. He is survived by his two Sons, Alfred C. Zapata,Jr. and John William Zapata,his Grandchildren Connie Zapata, twins Nicholas&Tony Andrew Zapata, Solomon L. Zapata,his Great Grandchildren Rolando Flores,III, Isabella M. Zapata,Damian Zapata,Silas L. Zapata and Matthew Zapata, Brother Albert C. Zapata,Sr.,and wife Mary M.Zapata, Sister's Corinne z Whitaker&fiance Roland J. Aguirre,Dora M.Salay, Deceased Brother Richard C. Zapata, Brother Retired Msgt Oscar C. Zapata&his wife Shim Zapata,and Brother David C. Zapata&his wife Norma DelaRosa Zapata.. He had five Neices,six nephews, eight great neices, five Great Nephews and one Great Great Nephew.

A service celebrating Mr. Alfredo C. Zapata,Sr. precious life will be held at Castillo Funeral Home located at 520 N. Gen McMullen San Antonio, TX 78228 on Jan. 12, 2024 from 4-8pm!
