Alfredo Sanchez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 81. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Olivia Sanchez; brothers, Fernando, Margarito, Ramon, and Abel Sanchez; sisters, Delia Gonzales (Fidel Gonzales), and Beatrice Alvarado (Carlos Alvarado); his nephews, Reynaldo Gonzalez, Carlos Alvarado, Jr., and Jesse Sanchez.

Alfredo leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory always. He is survived by his children, Alfredo Sanchez (Keely), and Clara Sanchez; his beloved grandchildren, Abraham and Raelynn Sanchez; his sisters, Lucia Rodriguez (Daniel Rodriguez), Velma S. Ortega, and Rosalinda Sanchez; brother, Carlos Sanchez (Irma Sanchez), sister in law, Guadalupe Sanchez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Alfredo was a quiet, generous and humble man. He treasured spending time with family, enjoying a cold beer, and listening to music that brought back cherished memories. He was especially proud of his service to our country as a member of both the Texas National Guard and the United States Army, and he carried that sense of duty and honor throughout his life.

Alfredo, affectionately known as "Al" by those closest to him, touched many lives with his gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the memories we shared and in knowing that his legacy lives on through those who loved him.

He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. May he rest in eternal peace.
