Alfredo T. Cantu passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 72.  He is preceded in death by his parents,  Adolfo & Maria Cantu, his brothers Adolfo Jr & Andrew Cantu. Alfredo leaves behind a daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Rick Lopez; a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene & Sabrina Pesina, and four grandchildren Logan & Austin Lopez, Jailyn & Jake Pesina. Also, a caregiver, Laura Quiroga; three sisters, Lupe Martinez, Mary Alice Alcoser & Viatris Cuevas and as well as numerous comadres, compadres, nieces, nephews, extended family members and numerous friends.

Alfredo was retired and spent most of his days as a self employed Uber driver. His second home or main spot to pick up people was at HEB Mercado store on Culebra Road. He would hand out pieces of papers with his name & phone number to people who may of needed "rides" to any places. He would drive people home from HEB, take them to work, doctor appointments, school or wherever they needed to go even if they could afford to pay him or not. He was passionate in helping others. Alfredo was a well known generous man who was loved by his family, friends and the community. He will truly be missed.
