Alfredo C. Mora, 86, widower of Mary Mora, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1937, in Harlingen, Texas, a son of the late Estela and Enrique Mora.

We will forever cherish the memories of Alfreds remarkable life and the impact he made on all those who knew him. Prior to retirement, he was employed with SW Neon for 35 years as a painter and sign maker. He was known to be set in his ways but always willing to help anyone with guidance and support, a respected man who touch the lives of all those lucky enough to know him. He dedicated his life to his family, he loved his wife whom he met at a festival, singing and adored his daughter. He will be missed and remembered forever.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Mora; parents, Estela and Enrique Mora; and seven siblings.

Family members include his daughter, Maria E. Luna; five siblings, Irma, Elia, Berta, Johnny and Roy; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for visitation and at 6:00 p.m. for a Rosary Service.
