Alice
Palomo
January 12, 1948 – December 12, 2020
Alice Palomo, beloved sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend joined our heavenly father on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the blessed age of 72. Ali was born on January 12, 1948 to Macario Palomo and Juanita Lopez Palomo in San Antonio, TX.
Ali was an original; she dedicated her life to helping others, especially her family. Loyal and thoughtfulness resonated in every relationship and aspect of her life. She was mother hen to us all, going above and beyond for all her loved ones. Even when it was time to focus on her own wellbeing, her last wish was selfless, Ali wanted nothing more than to see her family loved, supported, and united.
She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Macario Palomo & Juanita Lopez Palomo, Rudy & Lupe Palomo, Mark Zapata, Armando Guerrero, and Lupe Gomez. Ali is loved and greatly missed by her sisters, Velia Palomo, Margarita Guerrero, and Estella Palomo-Acosta (Ernest), brother-in-law Roman Gomez; nieces Lisa Palomo, Adriana Palomo, Sue Alice Gomez, Vanessa Palomo, Marcella Zapata-Garcia (Javier), Robertta Portillo, Gabriela Lee Monsivais, Erin Acosta, Lilliana Cantu ; nephews Fernando Guerrero, Orlando Guerrero, Marco Abraham Zapata, John Michael Palomo, Joseph Acosta, Jarred Portillo, Jameson Palomo; and numerous loving family members.
Her family will hold a celebration of her life at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m.. On Monday, December 21, 2020 a 10:00 a.m. mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc, 2829 Ackerman Road.
Ali has been surrounded by the love and support of many special people throughout this year. Thank you Velia Palomo, Patty Rodriguez, Sue Alice Gomez, Robertta Portillo, Jarred Portillo, and Nurse Melissa.
