Alicia Ortiz Cortinas departed her loving family on March 8, 2021, at the age of 76, in San Antonio, Texas. She was joined in Holy Matrimony with Louis Cardenas on November 9, 1968, and enjoy 48 years of marriage. Alicia retired from Reed Candle Company after 49 years of employment.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cardenas Cortinas; and parents, Antonio Ortiz and Julia Ortiz.

She is loved and will be missed by her children, Michael Andrew Cortinas, Eric Louis Cortinas, Debbie Garza, Lisa Quiroz and Louie Cortinas;  daughters-in-law and sons-in-law; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-greandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Joe, Robert, Jesse, Roy, Olivia, Bertha, Estella, Diane and Karen. She had many nieces and nephews. Alicia was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
