Alonzo Gonzales
Jr.
May 5, 1944 – December 6, 2022
Alonzo K Gonzales JR passed away peacefully on December 06, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 78 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 5, 1944.
Alonzo served in the United States Army Rangers, Air Force, and Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Fox Tech High school in 1962.
In the winter of December 14, 1968, he married his wife Aurora Gonzales, who surrounded him with love and comfort up until his last moments. He was a mailman for 30 years
after serving our country and enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout the 78 years on this
earth. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Most precious to Alonzo was his faith in God. He will be missed tremendously.
Alonzo is also preceded in death by his son, Angel Gonzales, his mom Angelina Karambis, his father Alonzo Gonzales SR, his mother-in-law Maria Diaz, father-in law Victor Diaz, his brothers Larry Leos, and
Raymond Gonzales, his sisters, Lyndia Villanueva, Dolores Tijerina.
Alonzo is loved and will be missed by his wife Aurora Gonzales, His daughters Michelle Trujillo (Joe Angel Trujillo), Rosemary Duarte (Daniel Duarte);
Grandchildren Jennifer Flores (Daniel), Brittney Casillas (Ben), Jazel Puente, Denise Duarte, Desiree Duarte, Emilie Prado, Angel Pena (Ray); Great-Grandchildren Makayla Flores, Daniel Flores JR, Delicia Flores, Dani Flores, Marilena Flores, Ben Benavidez, Bryson Benavidez, Jay Velasquez, Raven Velasquez,
Mercedes Villalobos, Miley Villalobos, Maci Villalobos, Ray Edward Pena Jr, Henry Pena, and numerous sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.
