Alton 'Tom' Phinney to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the age of 67.

Born on August 8, 1955, in Milbridge Maine, to his late parents Florence and Alfred Buddy Phinney. He and his wife Justina Perez shared an eleven year adventure and marriage together. He cherished his most precious gift from the lord, his children, Travis, Jesse, Laura, Sarah, Chastity, Chariaty, Cassidy, and Clarissity.

Tom accomplished much during his lifetime and will be remembered for so much. His service to his country was a proud time for him and he often reminisced about those years with the United States Navy. He would later go on to successfully start up and run his business, Shamrock Fire and Alarm. His most prized possession was his 1933 Coup. He loved all kinds of classic cars and shared his passion with his involvement in the San Antonio Street Ridders car club.

Tom ultimately enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversation, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for his family's future and those he knew. His greatest pleasure was to be surrounded by family and friends; always ready to make them laugh. Those times where he celebrated so many special occasions and accomplishments of those around him are times that exists now in our memories will be cherished forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Alfred Buddy Phinney and his son, Travis Phinney.

He is survived by his wife Justina Perez; children, Jesse Phinney, Laura Phinney, Sarah Phinney, Chastity Ochoa, Charity Ochoa, Cassidy Ochoa, Clarissity Ochoa; grandchildren, Mickey, Alice, Persephone, and Wally; father-in-law, Cruz Tamez; mother-law, Christina Perez; sister, Norma Jean; and sister-in-law, Anita Perez; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Chapel Service to begin at 6:00 pm.
