Amada O. Vela passed away peacefully on October 15, 2020. She was 94 years old. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico on October 20, 1925. She has joined her first husband Jesus Hernandez and second husband Mike Vela, and her children Amada Ochoa, Carlos Hernandez, and Raymundo Hernandez in heaven. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and devoted her time to Catholic church. She also loved to sing and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Leticia Cortez, Virginia Hernandez, Maria Hernandez and all of her 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
