Amadeo M. Benitez entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the blessed age of 95. He was born on December 25, 1930, in Jourdanton, Texas, to Jesus and Candida M. Benitez. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Consuelo T. Benitez; his parents; and his brothers and sisters.

Amadeo was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his strength, love, and enduring presence in the lives of all who knew him. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his children: Elida Benitez-Coronado (Richard Coronado) Joann Benitez, Paul Benitez, Ava J. Benitez (Joe Torres), Susie Benitez, and Steve Benitez (Teresa Rodriguez); his 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; along with extended family members and dear friends.Heaven has gained a treasured soul. Though he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
