Amador Juarez
Jr.
April 11, 1953 – August 3, 2023
Amador Juarez Jr, husband of Maria Bertha Juarez, went to be with the Lord at the age of 70 on Thursday, August 3, 2023, in San Antonio Texas. He was born April 11, 1953, in Carrizo Springs Texas, a son of the late Mercedes E. Villanueva and Amador Juarez.
Amador accomplished much during his life and loved sharing his unique stories and experiences. He enjoyed doing woodwork and working on cars. He was known for having the greenest yard and truly enjoyed working outside on it.
As a husband he loved bickering with his wife Bertha as a way to keep each smiling and laughing yet he was constantly protective and caring. As a father he was a guiding presence who was always supportive, putting the needs of his family before his own. As a grandfather he was proud and ready to bring a smile to his grandchildren's faces. His loss is incomprehensible but those who knew him find comfort through the faith he had; that everyone will be reunited once again someday.
In addition to his parents Mercedes E. Villanueva and Amador Juarez, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Efrain Juarez, and sisters, Maria Elva Juarez and Dora E. Chavarria (Rogelio).
Family members include his wife of 49 years, Maria Bertha Juarez; children, Monica J. Duran (Roger), Lydia J. Campos (Andy), and Amador Juarez III (Sabrina); 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, siblings, Evangelina Flores (Rudy) and Cecilia Elias (Eli), in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for visitation and a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm in Castillo Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:00 am in St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
