Surrounded by her family, Amelia B. Flores (Molly B.) went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2021, Amelia was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 8, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents Trinidad and Blasa Barcena, sister, Maria Elena Benavides, and her beloved husband Daniel H. Flores. She is survived by her daughter Edna Marie Flores; son Daniel Barcena Flores Jr. (Jo Ann); granddaughter Krystle Antoinette Stevenson, and her great-grandchildren Isaiah Joshua Rodriguez and A'liza Che'nelle Prime. She is also survived by her brother Macario Barcena (Lupe); Sisters' Maxine Olivo (Daniel) and Tina Vielmann, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Amelia retired from her Civil Service career at Lackland AFB after 30 years of service.

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A procession will depart at 9:30am on Friday, July 16, 2021 for a 10:00am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church- 1204 Castroville Road 78237. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Road.

Pallbearers: Michael Segura, Eddie Segura, Jimmy Segura, Joseph Segura, Joseph Barcena, Roland Barcena, Sergio Barcena, Jason Olivo and Roland Flores. Honorary Pallbearer: Marcos Benavides.

The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Zwinda Quijano (Z), Dr. Carmen Cawley, Dr. Lauren Tarbox, Dr. Fred Guerra, and Vitas Hospice.

Our mothers favorite flower was the white and yellow daisy please celebrate her life by wearing or expressing the colors on the day of her burial. Immediately following the burial, a reception and celebration of her journey home will be held at the Serenity Hall of Our Lady of Good Counsel  Catholic Church, 746 Castroville Road.
