Amelia A.
Burciaga
January 22, 1943 – February 4, 2024
Amelia A. Burciaga entered eternal rest on February 4, 2024 surrounded by the
warmth and love of her loved ones. She was 81 years old. She was born in San
Antonio, Texas on January 22, 1943.
Amelia was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. In her young years
she worked as a waitress and elevator girl to help her mother with bills. When she
married she worked as an accountant in a small business until she became a

the most loving and giving woman. She was a woman of great faith even through
all of her illnesses. She loved to go to church and lunch every Sunday with her
family. She enjoyed going to play Bingo and watching her game shows on
television. Amelia will be missed tremendously here on Earth.
Amelia will be reunited in heaven with her mother, Francisca Araiza, her father
Paul Araiza, her brothers Alfredo (Chito) Araiza, Pablo Araiza Jr. and her sisters
Rosemary Mercado and Yolanda Araiza.
Amelia (Meli) is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Vicente
