Anastacia 'Tacha'
Nombraña
June 15, 1957 – August 10, 2022
Anastacia 'Tacha' Nombraña, age 65, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2022.
Anastacia was born on June 15, 1957, in San Antonio Texas to her late parents, Guadalupe and Irma Nombraña. She grew up, one of five siblings, in a home full of support, encouragement, and guidance. Anastacia accomplished so many incredible moments in her life, but her greatest achievement are her children. She was the proud mother of her daughter, Geraldlyn 'Lyn' Nombraña and her late son, Geraldo 'Rene' Nombraña who passed away on January 8, 2022.
She was a devoted catholic and would help her church community in any capacity. Anastacia was active with the ACTS program at church, participated in the women's prayer group, and enjoyed making Rosaries and Crosses. She was creative and in her free time loved to work on arts and crafts. Anastacia was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. She enjoyed trips to the beach and river with great company. Anyone who knew Anastacia quickly understood her family and friends were her passion and delight. Anastacia truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures in life; great conversation, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for the future of those she knew.
She is preceded in death by her son, Geraldo 'Rene" Nombraña; parents, Irma and Guadalupe Nombraña; brothers, Guadalupe Nombraña Jr., and Gerardo Nombraña; and a nephew, Joseph Nombraña.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldlyn 'Lyn' Nombraña; grandchildren, Jaslyn Cortez (Damion Hernandez), Jose 'Boo Boo' Cortez (Amber), Cody Nombraña, and Bekah Nombraña; great grandchildren, Damion Jr., Jayel, Jamion, Destiny, and Jayci Hernandez; sister, Dora Saenz; brother, Abelardo 'Abe' Nombraña (Margaret); nieces and nephews, Eloisa 'Mitsy' Barrientes (Javier), Alyssa (David), JJ (Nina), Elisa 'Tootsie' Saenz (John), Melisa, Marie, Rosalie Nombraña (Albert), Albert Jr., Xavier, Lilly, Domanic, Anthony Nombraña (Angela), Calliope, Meadow, Karla, Samantha, Ximena, and Joseph Nombraña, Araceli and Anani, Karla, Ximena and Samantha; in addition to extended family and friends.
