It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend Andrea Moreno entered eternal rest on  Saturday January 22nd, 2022 at the blessed age of 80 in her beloved home in San Antonio, Texas. She touched countless lives on her journey sharing her un-shakable faith and a huge love for family.

She was born November 30, 1941 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Jesus Moreno and Engracia Galaviz. She is reunited in heaven with her parents and her daughter Miriam Manzanarez.

She is loved and will be greatly missed by her Children Maria Magdalena Peña, Engracia M Morales, Jesus Manzanarez. Grandchildren, Javier Morales Jr, Leeann Marie Morales, Benjamin Morales, Brianna Morales, Andrew Manzanarez, Abel Peńa Jr, Lexis Marie Peńa, Jesus Peńa as well as 7 great- grandchildren and extended family members and friends. She was a very loving, caring, generous person and always thinking of others before herself. She has taken a big piece of our hearts, but she has left many great and loving memories in our hearts. She was not only loved by her family but by so many friends. She was an amazing, wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend.

With compassion and dedication and an absolute faith she guided us on our journey.  Now we lay her to a well deserved rest and give her over to the ages. She leaves an incredible legacy countless wonderful memories.  Her memory will dwell in our hearts and we will always be thankful to our lord for blessing us with Andrea. We pray that we will be reunited in our lords kingdom and we will see her smiling face again.  May the almighty father bless and keep you always.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Tuesday February 1st , 2022 at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, Texas. Visitation 3:30 – 8:00 pm.  Private family viewing 2:30-3:30 pm.  Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will depart Castillo Funeral Home at 9:15am on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10:00 am, 418 Indiana St. San Antonio, Texas. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3 located at 1735 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas.
