Obituary

Andres Mata, also known as "Andy" or "Bayla" was born to father Jose Mata and mother Lucila Mata, in San Antonio, Texas on November 10th, 1969. He attended Edison High School, and rode into the sunset at the age of 52 on June 16th, 2022. Andy was a true biker and loved being with family and friends, playing the slots on a Friday or riding around Brackenridge on a Sunday.
Andres was blessed with a large and loving family. Bayla is survived by his daughters Jaylen Mata and Tiffany Mata; Grandchildren Brody, Julie, and Elliee; leaving behind his wife Ida Mata and ex-spouse Sonia Lopez. Sisters, Elena, Maria, Lucy, Ceceilia, Aurora, and brothers Jose, Roland, Gilbert, and Juan.  Numerous nieces and nephews, Andy is also survived by his motorcycle club.
We would like to thank everyone's love and support getting him to his final resting place. Your donations through the benefit made it possible.
He will be welcomed to the kingdom of heaven by his mother, father, sisters Diana, Lupe, Mona, and brother Danny.
