Angela Rodriguez Aguirre, born January 16, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, entered eternal rest on June 27, 2026.
Angela was the beloved youngest of eleven children born to Silverio and Julia Rodriguez, a treasure in a close-knit family. Her strength and deep love for her family was evident throughout her life.
She dedicated many years of service as a bus driver for Edgewood ISD, faithfully transporting and caring for countless children until her retirement. Her kindness and steady presence left a lasting impact on the community she served.
She now rejoins her beloved husband, Peter Aguirre, in eternal peace.
Angela is survived by her sisters Celia Perez and Mary Lou Campos, who will forever hold her memory dear. She leaves behind her children Richard and Jessica Villa, Peter Blue and Amber Aguirre, who were her pride and joy. Her grandchildren Noah Villa, Julian Villa, Hailey Aguirre, and Izabella Aguirre. They were the lights of her life, each carrying forward her love and legacy.
Angela’s life will be honored with visitation and rosary on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Castillo Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, where she will be remembered with love, gratitude, and reverence.
