Obituary

Angela G Gomez passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Amparo Guardiola, Son Victor Gomez, brothers, Carlos, Jesus, and Pablo, husband Jesus C Gomez and partner Wallace Velloz. She is survived by her brother Gilberto Guardiola, son Jesus Gomez Jr. (Dora), Aida Aguirre (Robert), Vicente Gomez and Victor Manuel Gomez and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Our hearts are broken, but we are so thankful for the time, memories and love she gave us throughout her life. Angela, better known as, mom, gramma,Tia Gela and Silver Fox, was the kind of person who would help anyone. It didn’t matter if she didn’t have much herself, she would give you what she had. She was a hard working person. She spent half her life working at Christie’s Seafood Restaurant, 30+ years, and Sea Island Shrimp House, 10+ years, to help support her family. Some of our favorite memories with her will always be celebrating birthdays, parties, cookouts, holidays and so many other moments that became part of who we are. She was always fun to be around. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her dearly. Her love, strength, kindness and the values she passed down will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and everyone who was blessed to know her. Though she is no longer with us, she will always be in our hearts, in our memories and in the stories we shared. We love you, mom, gramma, Tia Gela, Silver Fox. Thank you for everything. You will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
