Angela Gamez went to be with our lord on February 18, 2022, at the age of 33.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Francisco Gamez; grandma, Virginia Gamez; brother, Sonny Anthony Gutierrez; uncles, Casey Avila and Juan Cisneros; aunt, Elida Gamez; cousins, Jacob Lopez and Rebecca Greigo.

She is survived by her children, Justin Angel Gamez, Zoevio Isaya Valdez, Nevaeh June Valdez, Devon Domnake Perez, Heaven Lee Valdez, and Envy Virginia Aleman; mother, Anita Gamez; father, Robert Gloria; siblings, Frank Gamez, Jesse Gutierrez Jr., Michelle Anita Gutierrez, Esmeralda Marie Gutierrez, Tiffany Amber Robles, Robert Gloria Jr, and Brian Gloria; uncle, Fransico Gamez Jr.; aunts Nancy Gamez, Maria Elena Cisnero, Rita Nina Gamez, and Linda Ann Avila; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Angela was born on April 26, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas. She accomplished so many incredible things in life, but she especially loved her family and the memories made together with them. She graduated from San Antonio Can High School in 2008. Angela was really the ultimate mother, daughter, and sister, full of love, support, encouragement, and guidance; A roll she embraced and truly loved. Her capacity for generosity knew no bounds as she was someone who would help anyone in need. She inspired those around her to be a better person. Angela loved music and especially dancing. Her games of loteria with the family were full of laughs and good times. She will be remembered for her cooking, Angela loved to be in her kitchen making meals for the whole family. She was a nurturer, not just for her kids but the whole family, always there to babysit and take care of her nieces and nephews. She kept a spotless place as she truly enjoyed cleaning. She was devoted to her children and family and brought immense joy to those around her. We loved her caring ways, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Castillo funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will meet on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Castillo funeral home for a formal funeral procession to depart at 10:15 am for interment at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 am.
