Angelita Jimenez Palacios passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2021, surrounded by the warmth and love of family. She was 81 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas April 30th, 1940.

Angelita married her beloved husband Ramon on April 6th, 1959 and they lived happily for 37 years. Angelita raised four children and throughout the years helped care for her grandchildren and great-grandchild. In the mid-'80s she worked for Edgewood Independent School District as a Food Service Worker in the Child Nutrition Department until she suffered an aneurysm in 1996. Later that year Angelita's husband Ramon passed away. Her youngest son Frank and her loving daughter-in-law Aidee took over primary care and, ensured Angelita's wellbeing until December 2017, when she became a resident at Rio at Mission Trails.

The Palacios family would like to extend their gratitude to Adriana Cardenas (comadre) and her family, Alely Garza and Family, Janie Ramos and family, Trisha Lucio Faz, and family, and Esther Torres and family. We also wish to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to all of Rio Mission Trails staff members. We'd like to specifically recognize Shelia E., Destiny (DON), Felicia (ADON), Martha, Yolanda (office), Keith, Yolanda (DON), Ailena, Diane, Laura, Margaret, Cindy, Vanessa, Molly, Eliza, Otilia, Marlene, Terri, Liz, Stephanie H., Amy, Belen, Esther, Jackie, Lupe, Nikki, Martin, Veronica S., Selena, Mary, Angel, Maria, Dolores, Connie, Stephanie, Jessica, Gwen, Ira, and Adriana, whom all took a special interest in caring for our precious mother.
