Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother:

Angelita (Angie) R. Benavides age 75, went to be with our Lord peacefully surrounded by her family on November 2nd, 2024 at 11:45am. She was born on May 17, 1949, in San Angelo, Texas, but lived all of her life in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from South San High School in 1967. She worked at UT Health Science for a long while until she decided to stay home to take care of her Husband, Children and Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents: Adelina Trevino Ramirez, Raul Sotomayor Ramirez, Brother: Roberto Trevino Ramirez. Angie is Survived by her Husband: Robert C. Benavides, Daughters: Deborah Ann Johnson(Johnny), Melisa Ann Coronado, Connie Angelene Benavides, Grandchildren: Deboree Angelica Torres, Deedrah Michelle Torres, Victoria Ann Menchaca(Brandon), Carlos Andres Arredondo (Katya), Jessica Ann Arredondo, Angelene Janae Bermea, Alana Renae Bermea, Great Grandchildren: Desmeriee Queen Torres-Munoz, Arnaldo"Arnie" Menchaca, Damon Thomas Menchaca, Lydia Sue Menchaca.  Also Surived by 5 Sisters, 1 Brother, Numerous Nieces & Nephews, and other Family members.

Visitation to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a prayer service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Castillo Funeral Home. Burial to follow at San Ferando Cemetery II, at 11:45 a.m.
