It is with great sadness that the family of Angelita Rivera announces her passing due to heart complications, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the age of 59 years.

Angelita was born in San Antonio, Texas to Catalina and Jesus Rivera on October 9, 1962. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly. She was known to be humorous, outgoing, and full of life. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, and spending time with her family.

Angelita is preceded in death by her parents, Catalina and Jesus Rivera. Angelita is survived by her son Rolando (Jamie) Menjares Jr.; her daughter Connie (George) Aguilera; and her youngest son Jesus Menjares; her twelve grandchildren Alexander (Megan) Menjares; Adrian (Destiny) Menjares; Abigail Menjares; David (Gina) Aguilera Jr.; Brianna (Rangel) Aguilera; Jessica (Freddy) Murillo; Danny Aguilera; Lexus Aguilera; Jesus Menjares Jr.; Fabian Menjares; Jordan Menjares; Miracle Menjares;  and five great-grandchildren Azalea Menjares; Ailani Menjares; Mason Aguilera; Mateo Aguilera; and Natalie Murillo; a companion Jaime Vasquez.
