Angelita Nino Vara

November 24, 1961 – June 14, 2021

Angelita Nino Vara age 59 went into the arms of Jesus Christ on June 14, 2021. Everyone knew her as Angie and mother of Elizabeth and Priscilla. Angie was born to Henry and Yolanda Vara, on November 24, 1961 in San Antonio, Texas.

Angie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979, where she was a Lariat on the schools pep squad. Angie loved to play Bingo and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Angie loved receiving surprise gifts as it always brightened up her day. But most of all Angie loved Jesus Christ. Angie had an amazing memory; she always remembered special events, family gathering, birthdays and where our family was located.

Angie is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Marie Vara Diaz and her husband Jimmy Diaz, and Priscilla Ann Vara; granddaughters Destiny Kay and Larissa Marie; grandsons Jayden Jay and Jarron Henry; brothers Richard and his wife Sandra, Henry and his wife Mary Alice; sister Mary Louise Ybarra and her husband Mike; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other loving relatives.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Yolanda Vara.

The viewing and rosary will be held Thursday, July, 8 ^th beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen in San Antonio, Texas

Mass will be held Friday, July, 9 ^th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 12:00 noon.

Her burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 2:30PM
