Anita B. Rodriguez passed away on July 11, 2024, at the blessed age of 93. Anita was born on April 28, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Crespin and Maria Bustos. Anita loved to take road trips and go to the thrift store to shop. Her favorite treats were watermelon and sweet bread. She loved to laugh and joke around with her family and friends. Anita was truly a pleasant, classy, caring woman that will be dearly missed. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents Crespin and Maria, and her husband of 21 years, Jesus Rodriguez, Sr. Anita is survived by her loving children Virginia Aguero (Pablo), Gilbert Garza (Mary), and Abel Mendez; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren; nieces Terry Bustos and Delia Perales; nephew Jerry Arispe; along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart at 10:00 a.m. in procession on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, for a 10:45 a.m. graveside service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
