It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Anita A. Garcia, who was taken home to be with our Lord on January 10, 2025. Anita was born on May 10, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas to Valentin and Simona Alvarez. Anita was a kind and generous soul who often put others' needs before hers. She was always willing to help others and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Anita was close to all her family members and spending time with them was one of her passions. Anita worked at St. Dominic's Catholic Church for many years until she retired in 2020 and often
said that it was the "Greatest Benefits" it would enable her to attend daily mass and be filled with a renew spirit.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, protection, and her unconditional love. We will forever admire her strength till the end. We love you so much mom and will miss you dearly. Anita was a godly women devoted to our Lord, the Blessed Mother and the Rosary. She left an indelible mark on our hearts.
