Anita Martinez Peña passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 60 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 30, 1962.

Anita was a loving wife and mother of 3. She is survived by her husband Antonio Peña Cervantez of 16 years, her son Jesus Guevara, and daughters Elvira Silva and Diana Macias. Anita had 10 grandchildren and her first great granddaughter on the way. Anita was a go getter, a wise woman and a strong fighter and believe us when we say she fought till the end. She had many friends of which lasted a lifetime. She loved to make her yard sales, stay busy with her yard work, and cook for her baby boy Jesus.

Anita is preceded in death by her mother, Lina Carreon, her father, Jesus Martinez, her brother, Juan Carreon, and the father of her 3 children, Reuben Aguero Guevara.

Anita is loved and will be missed by her husband, 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 9 siblings  and many many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
