Anita G Rodriguez passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025 at the age of 88, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Growing up, Anita's education was shortened as she, and her siblings, were forced to work after her fathers injury.  Anita later married and moved to Chicago, IL.  Years later, Anita moved back to Texas and began working at Flo-Line Filters until it closed down.  She later began working and retired from the Northside School District where she had many friends and students who loved her.  Anita worked hard all her life and still managed to raise 5 daughters and 2 sons on her own.  She provided guidance, love, and support to all her children and instilled family values into each of their hearts.

Anita loved attending church services, traveling, and bingo.  She enjoyed spending time with her adult children and grandchildren but made sure she was back home in time to watch her novelas.  She had a strong faith in God and always paid blessings to others in need through prayers and donations.

Anita will be missed tremendously by many, including her children:  Olga (Joe) Ruiz, Joann (Joe) Hernandez, Linda Rodriguez, Laura (Mike) Heath, Rosemary Hill, Leroy (Melinda) Carrion, Eugene Carrion as well as the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. extended family and friends.
