Anna M. Ozuna
March 15, 1949 – October 14, 2025
Anna M. Ozuna passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 76 years old.
Born on March 15, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, Anna had a vibrant spirit and a deep love for life. She pursued a fulfilling career as a beautician and hairdresser for many years, bringing beauty and confidence to her clients and joy to those around her. After retiring, she embraced her role as a devoted grandmother, spending cherished time at home with her grandchildren.
In the winter of 1980, Anna married the love of her life—her "honey," as she fondly called him—Ernesto L. Ozuna. They shared 45 wonderful years of marriage and were together for a total of 51 years. Their union was filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Their bond was a beautiful example of enduring love.
Anna's greatest joy was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She created countless beautiful memories with them that will live on forever. She also enjoyed tending to her plants, watching her beloved telenovelas, taking vacations and road trips with her husband and close friends, and, of course, indulging in a bit of retail therapy.
Throughout her life, Anna remained strong in her faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always gracious and thankful for each new day and the many blessings in her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Santiago "Jimmy" Gomez; her father, Joe P. Gonzales; stepmother, Connie Gonzales; mother, Carmen R. Moya; her brothers Santiago, Joe, Richard, Rudy, Rico, and Jesse; and her sisters Lucy and Becky.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ernesto L. Ozuna; her children and stepchildren Valerie A. Gomez, Priscilla J. Tambunga (Johnny), Ernest Ozuna Jr. (Lesley), Ernestina Ozuna, and Christine Ozuna; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
Anna's legacy of love, strength, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
