Anthony Cipriano
Torres
December 5, 1980 – September 15, 2022
Anthony Cipriano Torres to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the age of 41.
Born on December 5, 1980, in San Antonio Texas, to his parents Augustine Torres IV and the late Isabel Jane (Gonzales) Torres. He grew up in a substantially loving family where he had one brother and three sisters. He cherished her most precious gift from the lord, his daughter Julianna Torres.
Anthony accomplished much during his lifetime and will be remembered for so much. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and worked in the construction industry. Those that met and knew him quickly realized just how big his heart was. A true servant of the Lord he used his kindness and willing heart to help and serve in any capacity through the Church Ministry, especially the homeless.
He loved riding his bike, but he especially loved to make someone laugh through his humorous personality. He ultimately enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversation, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for his family's future and those he knew. His greatest pleasure was to be surrounded by family where he adored his nieces, nephews and little cousins; always making them laugh. Those times where he celebrated so many special occasions and accomplishments of those around him are times that exists now in our memories will be cherished forever.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Torres; sister, April Torres; brother, Augustine Torres; maternal grandmother, Manuela Gonzales; paternal grandparents, Augustine and Eva Torres; and cousins Rudy Martinez Jr. and Baby Mark Delgado.
He is survived by his daughter, Julianna Torres; father, Augustine Torres IV; grandfather, Enrique Gonzalez; siblings, Melissa F. Garca, Eva M. Landa, Brotherly Cousins -Robert Martinez, and Richard Martinez (Aida); nieces and nephews, Bianca Gonzales, Evangelina Landa, Priscilla Gonzales, Destiny Landa, Santos Delgado, Rudy Gonzales, Damian Landa, Noel Landa, Aiden Landa, and Christa Gonzales; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
Family will receive guests on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 pm.
