Antonia I.
Berrones
January 16, 1935 – May 29, 2024
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 the pillar of our family, Antonia I. Berrones, at the age of 89, was called to the Lord's Paradise.
Surrounded by her family, she passed away in her home of 54 years. Antonia was born January 16, 1935 and was the greatest sample of being a strong and loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker that loved cooking, enjoyed sewing, crocheting and of course watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. At an early age of 9 yrs old, she began to work spending most of her young life at the farming fields and packing tomatoes. Later at the age of 16 was when she met and married the love of her life. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years Carlos Berrones. She was the daughter of Jose Juan Ibarra and Fausta Reyes. She leaves behind her sister Maria Lopez & family. She will join in heaven her sisters Matilde Morin and Virgina Ibarra.
Together Antonia and Carlos raised four daughters San Juanita B. Galvan (deceased Candelario R. Galvan), Sara Berrones (deceased), Cecilia Rodriguez (Alberto Rodriguez), Margarita B. Leza (Jesus Mando Leza).
Left to cherish and honor her memories are her grandchildren, Antonio J. Galvan (Maxine), Leticia B. Martinez (Jose), Roberto C. Galvan, Alexis M. Galvan (Jenny), Miguel A. Rodriguez, Naomi L. Rodriguez, Jasmine Alcoser (Richard)
Renee Berrones (Porkchop), David Lee Berrones (Danielle), Jesus (Stephanie). Many great grandchildren, Ashley Flores (Lisa), Joseph Martinez, Amanda Martinez, Azalea Martinez, Victoria Martinez, Jaelyn Galvan, Lorenzo Galvan
Alena Bingham, Elijah Galvan, Malachi Galvan, Mariah Chavarria, Harmony Rodriguez, Noah Rodriguez, Ezekiel Alcoser, Analise Alcoser, Paisley Leza, Nakoa Leza, Ja Leza , Scarlett Leza, Catalina Leza. Foster grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Nova, Krystal, Matthew, Erik, Aubrey.
Mostly sadly Antonia leaves behind her loving companions, Shih Tzu's "PJ" and deceased companion of 11 years "Pinto".
Antonia will be missed, but we her family know that we will meet again and until then may she rest in peace.
We love you!
