With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Antonia Luna Gomez, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on November 19, 2024, at the age of 75.

Born on June 4, 1949, Antonia was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Antonia now joins her beloved daughter Susan Gomez Moore, her husband Alfonso Gomez, and her son Alfonso Gomez Jr. in eternal rest. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving children, Frank Gomez and Eddie Gomez, along with his wife Monica Gomez. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward her spirit and values.

A woman of vibrant energy and grace, Antonia found immense joy in Tejano music and dancing, passions that she shared with those around her. Antonia was a retired SAISD employee that took pride in all the children she fed daily in the Nutrition department. Her home was always filled with laughter and warmth as she created countless memories with her loved ones. Her strength and beauty were evident in every aspect of her life, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her. Antonia's kindness, resilience, and unwavering love will be dearly missed but never forgotten. As we mourn her passing, we celebrate the incredible life she led and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
