Antonia E.
Ramirez
September 27, 1936 – March 10, 2021
Antonia E Ramirez, 84, of San Antonio, Texas left us with peaceful memories the day GOD called you home on March 10, 2021 in Converse, Texas with loved ones by her side.
Antonia, born in Piedras Negras Coahuila Mexico to Isidro Escobar and Teresa Escobar Ontiveros on September 27, 1936.
She was beautiful inside and out as her true beauty was reflected in her soul and humbleness, as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Many considered her as a surrogate MoM and Grandma with terms of endearment which she was known as MoM, Mother, Ama´, Grandma, Güela, Mary, Maria, Maruca, Seῆora Ramirez, Tia, Toῆa, Gorda and Chaparra.
Her enjoyable passions were family, reading the Bible as a daily dedication to her faith and GOD, Guadalupana at St. Stephens Catholic Church, gardening, sewing, crocheting, cooking, teaching anybody who wanted to learn her ways of cooking and most of all she was always in the kitchen ready to listen to any story and offer you something sweet or a home cooked meal.
Antonia is survived by her husband Gregorio of 56 years, two daughters Mary Ellis, Sandra Myers and one son St. John Ramirez. Grandchildren, Teresa Rice(Eugene), Johnny Lee Correa III(Crystal) and Jaydalynn Villarreal. Great Grandchildren, Emma, Johnny Lobo, Alexander, Nick, Lotus and her brothers, sisters, numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks and appreciation to VITAS HOSPICE Team #567, Teresa M Washington, Leslie RN, Caitlin Social Worker, Roberto Respiratory Therapist, Brandon Chaplain, Randall Chaplain, Home Health Care Aides Maria, Linda, Heidi and everybody else who helped us during MoM's Hospice care needs. Hospice is about living every moment to the fullest with your loved one at home and helping us through the transitions of life.
