It is with deep respect and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Casarez 79, of San Antonio, TX, who departed this life on January 15, 2026. Born on April 10, 1946, in San Antonio, TX, Antonio proudly served in the Air Force, achieving the Sr. Master Sergeant rank. During his service he received numerous awards and commendations.

Beyond his military career, Antonio was a devoted husband, father, uncle, godfather, grandfather and a loyal friend. The community will remember him for his generous spirit, Kindness, family moral, and his dancing skills. Antonio is preceded in death by wife Maria Casarez and parents Gabriella and Cantuto Casarez and his brothers, Alfredo and Goroteo Casarez, Step Brothers Victor Pesina and Cone Pesina step sister Andrea Pesina, He is loved will be greatly missed by his children Margaret Campos (Jesus), Tony Casarez Jr. (LuAn), Andrew Casarez (Maribel). Grandchildren Jesse Campos, Joshua Campos, Sebastian Trevino, Clarissa Casarez, Andrea Casarez, Anabel Casarez and Gabriel Casarez. Numerous nieces and nephews and extend family members and friends.
