Antonio (Tony)
G. Ochoa
June 20, 1937 – September 22, 2020
Antonio (Tony) G. Ochoa passed away on September 22, 2020, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Tony was 83 years old. Tony was born in San Antono, Texas, on June 20, 1937.
As a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle, and friend his warm heart was felt by all those he came into contact with. Beyond his love for his family and friends, he also had many other passions. One passion that was formed during his days attending Lanier High was his sense and love of community; his love for his community and high school was displayed over the years as he aided in raising thousands of scholarship funds that were awarded to both Lanier and Fox Tech High School students. He also had a great passion for Fiesta in San Antonio, for over 30 years Tony took part in the "Taste of New Orleans" Event which he also raised scholarship funds for local San Antonio students. Tony's biggest passion could be easily noted as his love for the Dallas Cowboys, Tony proclaimed himself as the COWBOYS #1 FAN!
Tony is reunited in Heaven with his parents Sebastian and Julia Ochoa brother Julian Ochoa; and daughter Debra Jean Ochoa. Tony will be dearly missed by his wife of 65 years Emma Ochoa; daughters Anna Marie Ochoa, Arlene De La Fuente, Mary Elizabeth Castro, and JoAnn Pardo; grandchildren Daniel Huizar, Mark Anthony Ochoa and wife Laura, Joe Albert Castro and wife Delilah, Jennifer and husband Fabrizzio Whispell, Desiree De La Fuente, Jonathan Eric De La Fuente, Derrick Lee De La Fuente, Michael Ochoa; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Sebastian Ochoa; and extended family and friends.
