Antonio
Lozano
February 3, 1937 – January 16, 2024
Antonio "Minaco" Lozano entered heaven on January 16, 2024 at the blessed age of 87. He was born on February 3, 1937 to Juan and Isabel Vasquez Lozano. Minaco, as he was known to his family and many friends, was born and raised in San Antonio. Minaco proudly served his country in the U.S. ARMY in the Co A 1st ARM 6TH Infantry AD Division in Ft. Polk, LA where he did a tour of duty in Korea. After serving in the Army, Tony worked at Santa Rosa Children's Hospital until he retired. Minaco was a lifelong bachelor with no children who enjoyed fixing clocks/ watches in his spare time and collecting VHS videos. His favorite series was Perry Mason along with any old cowboy series. Antonio enjoyed his stay at Lakeside Nursing Home, where all the staff and nurses enjoyed his blunt and funny sense of humor. Antonio made several friends at Lakeside, they enjoyed "Taco Tuesday" every week and he always looked forward to his physical therapy. Antonio also enjoyed it when his niece would bring him Sonic corn dogs, strawberry sundae with extra cherries, diet coke, and chips. Tony was a proud and private man and the last living sibling in his family. He is reunited with his parents as well as his siblings Ricardo Vasquez Lozano, Juan Vasquez Lozano Jr., Guadalupe Vasquez Lozano, Otilia Lozano, Candelario Lozano Mendoza, and Juanita Lozano Farias. Minaco is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
