In Loving Memory
Your Presence We Miss,
Your Memory We Treasure,
Loving You Always,
Forgetting You Never

Aragelia Alicia Garza, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Aragelia was born on April 7, 1940, in Matamoros, Mexico. Later in life, Aragelia's family moved to Monterrey, Mexico, where she met her husband Rogelio. Rogelio and Aragelia adventured to build a life in the United States, deciding on 1974 to move the family (four children) to San Antonio, Texas, where they welcomed the last addition to the family, Mario Garza. She was a beautiful, hard working person; although she only went up to six grade, her strife to provide a better future to her family drove her to work in the Mexicana Molino, Miller's Curtains and Levis Straus. She loved her family, loved spending time coloring, listening to music, traveling, and having pets. Our mother, grandma, great-grandma will be missed tremendously and will live in our hearts forever.
Aragelia is also preceded in death by her father, Vidal Elizondo, mother, Elida Vidaurri, brothers, Rogelio and Arnoldo Elizondo.
Aragelia is loved and will be missed by her sons, Rogelio, Jorge, Mario; daughters, Ludivina husband Javi and Elida; grandchildren, Richard G. Pacheco, MistyBlu Pacheco, Mario Ethan Garza, and Mario Olmos Garza, Shanik Trevino; great-grandchildren, Charrdoney C. Pacheco and Atreyu Pacheco; sister, Estela Elizondo de Romero, husband Alfonso and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 1pm until 4pm at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A prayer service will take place at 2:00pm at the Castillo Mission Funeral Home Chapel, with a balloon release and a Mariachi Serenade to follow.
