Armandina C. Cano, born August 3, 1937, in Piedras Negras, Coahulia, Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Jose M. Cano; sister and brother-in-law, Lupe and Samuel Perez; brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Mela Rodriguez; son-in-law, Robert Alvarez; and grandson, Gilbert Cavazos, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Del Rosario Salazar and husband, Homer, Leticia Ibarra and husband, Roger, Maria Josefina Ingram, Rebecca Cano-Garcia, Linda Cano and Robert Sullivan; sister, Chelo Perez and husband, Antonio; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Monday, March 15, from 3 to 7:30pm with a service at 6pm. Funeral service will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16, at 8am. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will join her husband on her final journey.
